Manta Mae Dive Centre

Manta Mae runs daily day trips out of Labuan Bajo, typically 2 or 3 dives covering central and northern park sites — Mawan, Batu Bolong, Castle Rock and Crystal Rock on rotation. Land-based runs roughly 30-50% cheaper than a liveaboard but trades away the southern sites — Cannibal Rock, Manta Alley and German Flag are out of day-trip range. Suits divers stacking Komodo onto a wider Indonesia trip, manta enthusiasts (Mawan is hit-rate reliable in season), and photographers who prefer unpacking once at a hotel. Skip if you have fewer than 30 logged dives, want full park access, or get seasick — the afternoon ride back from Castle Rock is rarely calm.
