Roctopus Dive
Roctopus opened on Sairee in 2009 and built much of its profile through an active social media presence and a young instructor team. The shop runs the full PADI 5★ course menu with a particular emphasis on the divemaster pipeline, which pulls a steady stream of long-stay candidates. The overall feel is more casual than the long-established resorts — branding leans into the social/community side rather than the corporate dive-school side.
No on-site accommodation; the shop partners with nearby Sairee guesthouses. Pricing sits in the lower-mid range, slightly below the volume operators. Suits younger backpackers, gap-year divers, and those who want the social Sairee scene with a more informal shop atmosphere. Less suited to those wanting boutique-style small groups, premium accommodation under the same roof, or a quiet operation.
