Joe's Gone Diving

Joe's Gone Diving is a well-established operator with two linked bases — the Sanur shop on Jalan Danau Tamblingan and a second site on Nusa Lembongan. Both run daily fast-boat trips to Nusa Penida and the surrounding sites: Manta Point, Crystal Bay (mola mola in season), Toyapakeh, and SD Point. The shop dives Penida year-round and has the operational depth to switch sites quickly when current or surge makes one spot unworkable. Group sizes are capped and Advanced Open Water is enforced for the harder sites.

Best for divers whose main reason for visiting Bali is mola mola in July-October or manta rays year-round. Strong choice for a one-week dedicated Nusa Penida trip from either Sanur or Lembongan. Less suited to first-time Open Water students — Penida currents are not a training environment, and the shop sends most students to calmer sites first. Local pricing is in IDR and most trip quotes include the Sanur-Lembongan return crossing.
